Recently LineageOS 19 received support for several devices from Xiaomi, Google, Motorola, Sony and many others. Today this list is growing with the addition of 3 models that can now be updated to Android 12 in an unofficial way, which is ideal for smartphones that no longer receive updates from their manufacturers.
The three phones that now support LineageOS 19 are the Redmi 7, OnePlus Nord N200 and the FairPhone 3, highlighting the Redmi and FairPhone phones, which have not officially received Android 12, so this is a good opportunity to receive the latest system improvements from Google on these devices.
Among the changes in Android 12 we can mention that the system brings new privacy controls, one-time permissions that expire after a certain period, more speed in the interface that now brings Material You with colors based on the wallpaper and much more.
It is worth mentioning that LineageOS 19 has a similar look to the so-called “Pure Android” with some additional functions, so it is different from MIUI and OxygenOS, being dedicated to providing higher performance by reducing user interface effects.
To install LineageOS 19 you first need to have the bootloader unlocked and a custom Recovery installed on your phone, so we recommend that you only perform this procedure if you already have experience, as it can cause permanent damage to your device.
