A few weeks ago, Samsung finally rolled out the final version of its new Android version. OneUI 4.0 can currently be installed on the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 +, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. You can now install the beta version on the older Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 models. Exciting news, but one that you should be careful about.

This is how you take part in the beta program for Android 12

Before I send you to any Samsung app to participate in the beta program, you should definitely make a backup of your old data. While this is not that important with stable operating system updates, data loss is quite likely with betas. Once the update is finished, you can download the “Samsung Members” app. This is available for free in the Google Play Store, the only requirement is a Samsung account.

You will then find a button in the app to participate in the beta program. It may well be that this will only appear in Germany in a few hours or days. Because the announcement that Samsung is opening its beta program comes from the Indian colleagues at TizenHelp. If you were able to activate the button, the beta version of Android 12 can be installed at Samsung using the conventional update process.
