It should also be remembered update the device to the latest version available to avoid incompatibilities.

Method 1: Shaking the iPhone or iPad

For several generations of iOS, Apple has included a feature called ‘Shake to undo’. With this, every time the person shakes their iPhone, a window will appear asking if they want to undo or redo a certain action. To enable this feature, do the following:

– Enter the menu Settings of the iPhone.

– Go to the area Accessibility.

– Here, enter the section Play.

– Now, just search for the function shake to undo and activate the switch next to it.

Ready. Now, if you make a mistake while typing, you only need slightly shake the iPhone to display the undo or redo menu.

Of course, if the user tends to shake his device too much, you may see the message at inconvenient times. In this case, you can disable this option because there are still three more methods.

Method 2: Touching the screen with three fingers

This method can be done in two different ways. To undo the last text or action, simply touch the iPhone screen twice in a row with three fingers. Once done, you should see the last change disappear and a message saying you just used the undo function.

The second way to perform this method is touch only once with three fingers. When this is done, you will see a small action bar at the top of the screen. Here you can use the back arrow to undo and the forward arrow to redo.

Fortunately, most of the Applications on the app store work with Apple gestures, so you can always use them to avoid having a bad time when mistakes are made.

Method 3: Swiping on the screen with 3 fingers

This is a similar way to the previous one. This time, however, you won’t just be tapping the screen with three fingers; you also have to slide them. It is a faster version of the previous process, and here you don’t have to press any buttons because the gesture does everything for you.

– Undo: place three fingers on the iPhone screen and slide them to the left. You will see that a small message will appear showing the action while the last thing that was done will disappear.

– Redo: The same but now you have to slide your fingers to the right. Of course, this time you can see how the deleted text or actions reappear.
