Agatha: Coven of Chaos – series will start filming soon; Look!

In an interview given during the Chicago International Film Festival, actress Kathryn Hahn confirmed the start of filming for Agatha: Coven of Chaos, new MCU series. According to her, the recordings will start sometime in November and will be the first step to continue the parallel story of WandaVisionnow focused on the sorceress Agatha Harkness.

Announced in November 2021 as part of the Disney+ Day line-up, the series will continue the final events of the Scarlet Witch production and will show a protagonist in redemption after having her powers removed.

However, given the narrative focus, it is possible to assume that the plot will follow Harkness as she seeks to rescue her supernatural abilities as a guardian of the Darkhold.

So far, Emma Caulfield has confirmed her return as Westview boss Dottie, although there are no further details on her role. In addition, Jac Schaeffer, screenwriter of WandaVisionis also part of the show’s cast, but now participating behind the scenes as an executive producer.

“I asked Kathryn Hahn about Agatha: Coven of Chaos on the red carpet at the Chicago International Film Festival. She confirmed that filming will begin soon. ‘We are in the midst of preparing coven and it’s going to be really delicious… We start shooting in about a month.'”

Coven of Chaos is expected to launch during the North American winter of 2023. The project is an exclusive content on Disney+.
