1899: new thriller from the creators of Dark gets a tense trailer; Look
On Monday, Netflix revealed the final trailer for 1899a new series by the duo Baron bo Odar and Jantje Friese, creators of dark (2017-2020). The production promises an even more mysterious plot than the duo’s previous series.
In 1899, a ship bound for the New World takes a group of passengers beyond strange. Apparently, everyone runs away from something they want to leave behind.
When they reach the halfway point, they come across a drifting vessel that has been missing for months, the ship Prometheus. Everything changes when the crew decides to board the ship found in the middle of the sea. Check out the trailer:

It remains to be seen whether the series will take place in the same universe as dark.
The cast includes Andreas Pietschmann (who played the adult Jonas in dark), Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Miguel Bernardeau, Maciej Musial, Lucas Lynggaard Tonnesen, Rosalie Craig, Yann Gael, Mathilde Ollivier, Isabella Wei, Gabby Wong, Flyn Edwards and Alexandre Willaume. A curiosity is that all the actors and actresses will speak in the series with their native languages.
The series 1899 premieres November 17 on Netflix.
