1 – Warrior Nun

We open the list with a series that is not necessarily horror, but has several supernatural elements, such as the demons hunted by the secret organization of the Catholic Church called The Order of the Cruciform Sword, an ancient society of warrior nuns.

The production follows a young orphan who possesses supernatural powers and joins the order of nuns to eradicate demons from Earth. It’s worth taking the time to check it out!

2 – The Haunting of Hill House

The Curse of Hill House It’s one of the best horror series on Netflix.once features some truly terrifying and super well-constructed episodes.

The plot follows a couple and their five children, who move into a large mansion haunted by ghosts – it sounds cliché, but believe me, it’s surprising! Years later, when the children are adults, the death of one of them brings back all the ghosts of the past.

3 – The Curse of Bly Manor

This series can be considered as a 2nd season of The Haunting of Hill House, however it works independently. In the story, a young woman moves to a large mansion in the English countryside to take care of two children who tragically lost their parents.

Once there, she begins to realize that the kids and the mansion have some scary secrets. Much of the cast of The Curse of Hill House returned for this second season. It is also worth remembering that the production is based on the book “The Other Turn of the Screw”, by Henry James.

4 – The Order

Another series with a greater focus on action and adventure, but which also features supernatural and horror elements.

The Order follows young Jack Morton, who joins a secret society called “The Order”. Jack finds himself caught up in a plot involving family secrets, magic and a battle between werewolves. There are two seasons available on the platform.

5 – Lucifer

The popular series that follows the Lucifer Morningstar saga could not be left out of this list. Lucifer got tired of reigning in hell and decided to have a more “ordinary” life on Earthwhere he became the owner of a nightclub.

Soon he joins the LAPD to investigate the murder of a friend. The series is fun, scary, dramatic, sexy and, of course, filled with monsters.

6 – Chilling Adventures of Sabrina

Inspired by the Archie Comics, the Netflix version is far scarier than the previous ABC version, Sabrina, Apprentice Sorceress. Here, Sabrina Spellman is a young witch who refuses to sign a contract with the devil on her 16th birthday.

The series surprises by showing murders, exorcisms, ghosts, demons and even a kind of purgatory. But while it’s scary, it manages to be fun and target a younger audience.

7 – Marianne

Marianne is an eight-chapter French series that tells the story of a writer who uses her childhood nightmares to bring her works to life.

However, when one of these ghosts starts doing some damage to her friends in real life, she must return to her hometown and face a demonic threat.

8 – The Scream: Origins

Based on the Ju-On (The Scream) film franchise, the series follows a researcher who goes to a cursed house to investigate an ancient tragedy involving a mother and her child. There, he begins to witness several surprising supernatural happenings.

Curon is an Italian thriller and horror series that follows a former resident of a small town in Italy who returns to the place years later and discovers that the town is cursed. So, she needs to face her dark past to find some peace – or not!

10 – Soul

Alma is a Spanish series that was a hit among the streaming giant’s subscribers. Created by screenwriter Sergio G. Sanchez, the narrative follows the story of a group of friends who travel together and on their way home they have an accident.

From then on, nothing remains as it was. Memories are forgotten, traumas are investigated, disappearances must be faced and questions need answers. And that’s when supernatural events begin to happen.
